BPA Partners with LifeSmarts for Student Competitions

National BPA has partnered with LifeSmarts to provide student members with the opportunity to test their knowledge, develop critical thinking skills and compete with other BPA members in TeamSmarts, a web-based team competition. Now through December 31, Middle Level and Secondary BPA students can compete in the Technology & Workforce Preparation category. In January, they can compete in the Personal Finance and Environment categories. The top team in each monthly competition will earn a $100 cash prize!

Advisors first register as a coach and then have students register and join the BPA/LifeSmarts team online. The team captain must log in to see the quiz, and teams of four or five students then work together to complete the 100-question quizzes. LifeSmarts provides complete instructions on how to register.

LifeSmarts is the nation’s premier consumer program whose goal is to ensure students will be consumer savvy and well equipped for adult life. If you have questions about the TeamSmarts partner competition, contact Cheryl Varnadoe at cherylv@nclnet.org.
