Students Contacting Convention & Hotel Properties
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Several companies that are involved with planning conventions or providing convention and hotel accommodations have contacted the National Center regarding students requesting information for the 2025 National Leadership Conference. As contestants begin to prepare for Regional, State, and the National Conference these requests for information have increased significantly.
National BPA would like to remind advisors to please have your students research information but not submit any requests to convention centers or hotel companies.
Many companies have been reaching out to National BPA to follow up on Requests for Proposals (RFPs) that have been submitted asking for legitimate conference arrangements. It is fine for students to research information on convention and hotel properties, however, students should identify themselves properly, as students, and be sure to indicate that the request for information is for a school project and not on behalf of National BPA. There are significant implications made when certain forms are completed and submitted for information. As students do research, it is very important that they are reminded to be careful in their process and be sure they are not submitting information as if they were an official representative of National Business Professionals of America.
Together, We Support BPA!
Business Professionals of America is teaming up with our National Officers in an effort to help raise awareness and support for their scholarship drive as a part of this year’s National BPA Annual Appeal. We are proud of the commitment not only our students and advisors have made to this incredible organization, but also the commitment our supporters continue to make and the trust that has been placed in us to develop meaningful programs that change student’s lives, but we need your help to continue to make a difference.
Tax-deductible contributions to our annual appeal and scholarship drive will enable us to continue delivering valuable programs, professional development, and scholarships for our members. When someone makes a donation to Business Professionals of America, regardless of the level, they become a donor and a member of our community.
During this season of giving, we encourage you to help us spread the word and share the opportunities available for donors to support our organization. Additional information can be found online at:
Donations of all levels make a lasting impact. Together, we can give our next generation of business professionals the motivation they need to pursue promising careers and change the world. Thank you for your support!
