BPA Live! is the post-opening session entertainment event at the National Leadership Conference.

This talent showcase highlights the creativity, energy, and talent of BPA members from across the country.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Be a current BPA member in good standing
  • Be a registered attendee of the 2026 BPA National Leadership Conference
  • Attend the mandatory rehearsal on May 6
  • Be available to perform live from 10:00–11:00 PM CT
  • Comply with all BPA conference policies and conduct standards

Individuals and teams may apply. For team acts, all participants must meet eligibility requirements.

Application Submission Requirements

  • Public Video Link (Required): A publicly accessible video link (YouTube, Vimeo, Google Drive, etc.) clearly showing the act and all performers.
  • Performance Length: Estimated length (maximum 5 minutes, including transitions).
  • Statement of Interest: Brief written explanation of your act.
  • Participant Information: Primary point of contact, performer names, school, state, and division.
  • Music Links: Links to planned music with timestamps.

Performance Guidelines

  • Maximum performance time: 5 minutes
  • BPA will provide professional sound, lighting, and staging
  • Acts must be performed as submitted in the application
  • BPA reserves the right to adjust performance order and timing

Equipment & Props

  • Performers must bring any required personal equipment or props
  • All equipment and props must be safe, portable, and quick to set up/remove
  • Equipment use is subject to BPA and venue approval
  • Only handheld microphones are available
  • Screen projection is not available

Prohibited Content & Activities

  • Pyrotechnics, fire, flames, sparks, smoke, fog, or explosive effects
  • Weapons (real, replica, or prop)
  • Dangerous stunts or risky activities
  • Use of animals
  • Liquids, powders, glitter, confetti, or damaging substances
  • Acts requiring rigging, climbing, suspension, or venue modification
  • Explicit, offensive, or inappropriate content
  • Food may not be used during your act

BPA reserves full discretion to determine whether an act is appropriate, safe, and feasible.

Applicant Acknowledgement & Agreement

  • I am a current BPA member and registered NLC attendee
  • My advisor supports my participation
  • Submission does not guarantee selection
  • The video link is publicly accessible and represents my act
  • Performance is limited to five (5) minutes
  • I will attend rehearsal and be available for performance
  • I am responsible for personal equipment or props
  • My act complies with all safety and content guidelines
  • I agree to follow all BPA policies and staff instructions
  • Failure to meet requirements may result in removal
