Newly Improved Member Registration System Launches - Register Now!

National BPA is pleased to announce the launch of a new and improved BPA Membership Registration System for the 2020-2021 membership year! The BPA Membership Registration System has undergone a major overhaul to deliver improved features and functionality. There will be training opportunities and numerous resources to help users learn how to navigate the system and best manage chapters. We are confident that both students and advisors will appreciate the new features that this system will provide, including:

As we prepare for the new school year to start, it's never too soon to start thinking about and planning for the 2021 National Leadership Conference! 

Disney's Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, FL will be host to our 2021 National Leadership Conference taking place May 5th - 9th. With so many incredible opportunities for students and advisors alike, it's never too soon to start preparing for the NLC! The conference will include competitions, certifications, the incredible National Showcase, Leadership Development workshops, onsite Industry Certification Labs, tours and so much more. BPA LEADS: Fall Leadership Academy

BPA is proud to be partnering with the Lead4Change Student Leadership Program to provide BPA Leads Fall Virtual Leadership Academy. The program will kick off Monday, September 21st, and run for eight weeks concluding on Monday, November 9th. This series will offer BPA student members the opportunity to lead, create, and implement team projects designed to meet a need in their school, local or global community. 

During this series, students will acquire and practice essential skills that will mold them into influential leaders. Students will participate in activities that will enable them to learn to know themselves, work with a team, create a vision, and believe in their ability to reach that future vision. The Fall leadership Academy is a free offering to BPA student members and a way to create community as we build critical leadership skills!

After completing the full Lead4Change course, participants will be able to enter their projects (via their chapter advisor) in the Lead4Change Challenge. The Challenge provides an opportunity to win up to $10,000 for your school or community organization to continue the work you started during the Fall Leadership Academy. Students will also receive course completion certificates from BPA Leads and Lead4Change to recognize their engagement. BPA will also award a BPA Leads Digital Badge to participants who attend the course. BPA Member Program Guide and NLC Poster

The 2020-2021 BPA Member Program Guide and NLC Poster are currently in production and scheduled to be released electronically the first week of September. This year the BPA Member Program Guide and NLC Poster will not be printed and mailed as in previous years, but will be made available for direct download on the BPA Member Gateway for both students and advisors. To gain access to the BPA Member Gateway, students and advisors must be registered members that have submitted their membership invoice online through the BPA Membership Registration System (MRS). Once officially registered, the BPA Member Gateway can be accessed at: https://members.bpa.org. 

WSAP Release Date: September 1, 2020

We are excited to launch the 2020-2021 WSAP Competitive Event guidelines on September 1st! Currently in the final stages ofpreparation, all guidelines, manuals etc., for the WSAP will be posted by September 1, 2020 to the WSAP Download Center in the brand new BPA Member Gateway located at: https://members.bpa.org/download-center/. Competition guidelines have been updated to include new competencies, customized rubric items per competitive event, 10 new exciting Pilot events, and the addition of our newest assessment area: Health Administration!

Please note that webinars will be made available on Mondays by 10:00 am Eastern Time at https://bpa.org/events/webinar-series/. Additionally, a live Q&A session will be held via Zoom on Thursdays of the same week from 6:00 - 7:00 pm Eastern Time.
