BPA Leadership Conference Activities

What activities (outside of competitions) are currently being offered at BPA Conferences you attend? What activities would you like to see offered at BPA Conferences?

  • A photo booth

  • Hypnotist show
  • A bounce house/inflatable games room
  • DJ/Dance Party
  • Karaoke
  • Auction
  • Formal Dance
  • Raffle
  • Auction for Special Olympics
  • Game Night
  • President’s Breakfast (for chapter presidents and the state officers)
  • “Casino” Night
  • Trivia Night
  • Service Activity: packaging care packages for troops, writing letters to sick children, 
  • Tours to local attractions
  • College and Career Fair
  • “Legacy Launchers:” Short keynote presentations on specific topics like networking or college readiness
  • “Chill zone:” We hang out with students from another chapter the night before the competition starts. This is a great filler activity to meet other people before the competition and stress modes get tense. Activities included are raffles, games, snacks, etc.)
  • Parade of Presidents: this is right before the opening ceremony and it is designed to recognize local chapter presidents. Presidents brings signs and run into the ballroom where everyone is already seated just prior to the opening session starting
  • A morning yoga session
  • The Amazing BPA Race: This year we’re doing an Amazing Race with QR codes around the area of our hotel. We will award the winners with points for the spirit competition.
  • Rock Climbing
  • Volunteer Day: My  state has a day set aside for everyone to volunteer at local businesses around town
  • “BPA After Dark:” this activity involved posting pictures through twitter of certain activities. Everyone really liked that, it got everyone excited and we had something fun to do in our down time
  • A Magician/Magic Show
